Jess & Matt had been each other's person since university, nearly a decade of quiet devotion by the time they stood at The Retreat, Elcot Park in Newbury to make it official. The 6th of June arrived hushed and grey, the air thick with the kind of anticipation that makes a room feel absolutely electric even when the sky won't cooperate. For a moment, they worried the clouds might ruin things. They didn't. The light turned soft and low, wrapping the whole day in something cinematic- a gentle, gloomy yet glowy hush that made every detail feel closer, quieter, more theirs. Jess and Matt were shy in front of the lens, the kind of shy that comes from two people who'd rather look at each other than perform for anyone else. So that's what they did. Surrounded by family, full of dancing, good food, and laughter that only happens when a room is genuinely, entirely in love with the people getting married. They let the day simply happen around them. It was never about posing. It was about being present; the wind, the grey light, the noise of people who adore them, and letting that be enough.
