From the I do, to the beginning of forever

Every hour of your day has a role to play in your story. I'm just here to make sure none of it gets lost.

A man and a woman are standing together in an indoor setting, possibly getting ready for a formal event. The man is wearing a white shirt and black trousers, while the woman is in a long, elegant yellow gown. They are close to each other, with the man covering his face with his hands and the woman looking down. The scene appears to be private and intimate, with framed artwork on the wall and a doorway leading to another room.

NOT DIRECTED

Spending your wedding day with me begins long before the morning of. Every gallery you'll one day hold in your hands is shaped by a series of quiet decisions- how I move through a room, when I step back, when I lean in, what I choose to notice before you even know it's happening. My role isn't to direct your day, but to stay close enough to it that nothing true gets missed.

At the heart of how I work is a simple belief: the most honest images come from presence, not performance. I pair genuine care with a documentary eye, learning your story before I ever lift my camera, then trusting the day to unfold exactly as it's meant to. Before you look through what a day with me includes, I want you to understand the philosophy behind it, a way of working built on trust, attentiveness, and the belief that a wedding day, felt fully, becomes a story worth returning to for the rest of your life.

the process

From the moment you reach out, every part of the process is built around one thing: making sure your day is fully held, not just documented. We start with a conversation, move into the details that make your wedding uniquely yours, and stay in touch as the date approaches. When the day finally arrives, I'm there quietly, capturing what's real instead of directing what's staged. What follows is a gallery that lets you feel it all again, exactly as it happened.

My approach is rooted in documentary storytelling

White line drawing of a flower in an oval frame on a black background.

You won't find me interrupting a quiet moment to ask you to "do that again" for the camera, or arranging you into a pose that isn't yours. My approach is rooted in documentary storytelling- I move through your day like a quiet guest, not a director, watching for the things most couples never even know happened. The way he reaches for your hand without thinking. The way your mother's face changes the second she sees you. The breath you take right before you walk down the aisle, when no one else is looking but you're feeling everything all at once.

I bring an artist's eye to natural light and real connection, never to stiff posing or forced smiles, because the moments that matter most are rarely the ones anyone planned. What you'll receive isn't a highlight reel of a day that looked good. It's a true, tender record of how it actually felt; the nerves, the joy, the tears no one saw coming, the love that was already there long before the I do. Years from now, when the flowers have faded and the song from your first dance is just a memory, this is what you'll have: proof that it was real, and that it was felt, exactly as it happened.

Even though Emilia's photography is the main attraction I would also like to point out again just how lovely and kind Emilia is as a person, she went above and beyond in so many ways when she didn't need to... I would highly recommend Emilia to anybody!
